Is a vintage Shakespeare Wonderod, 8" Flyrod in absolutely superb
condition. If this rod was used it couldnt have been
over a few times. The
sticker on the rod reads "Shakespeare Wonderod Made in USA Howald Process,
The
Straight-Fiber rod with the Spiral Markings, Pat# 2571717. THe rod is a
beautiful yellow with yellow snake guide windings.
The cork handle is
immaculate. If you are a rod collector you will not find a nicer fly rod then
this.
This rod comes with the original cardboard tube.

This rod has been seldomly used and is a rare and vintage (bought to 1980)
fly rod. It is a 2-Piece rod with 8 line
guides. It has a cork handle with a
double locking-ring metal reel seat. It is very flexible, and extremely strong-
as you would expect from an Ugly Stik. It is 8 feet long, and rated for 7-8
weight fly line
